The 1 Moto 2015 in Portland, OR - Part 1

That's right, traveled to Portland this most recent weekend to check out The One Moto Show. So much rad stuff goin on. They had bikes ranging from traditional choppers, to traditional and modern cafĂ© racers, to full on crazy customs. They all seemed to be top of the line, as far as fashion and fab go. The venue was an old factory of some sort. I would guess late 1800's, judging by the mostly wood construction and hardware used. I snapped a ton of pics, so here is the first of two rounds..... enjoy.

VMCA Vintage Motorcycle Show and Swap Meet 2015 in Lawrence, KS

Checked out a sweet ass vintage bike show this past weekend. Had some buddies that had some bikes in the show and got to b.s. with some others that I hadn't seen in a while. I've always been into the really early stuff, but the board track racers were especially killer. Enjoy...

2015 Wide Open Bike Show

It's the middle of January in Kansas City and I got to ride motorcycles to a motorcycle show! I'm not too excited about what kind of bike Wide Open is pimpin these days, but it's the only event in town, so I'm there. There wasn't a wide selection of vintage, like last year's show had, and the gaps were filled with more big wheel baggers. I know it's the hot new trend, but I can't get into it. Here's some bikes from the show, for better, or for worse.

Custom Exhaust on my 99 Dyna Wideglide "Touring Bike"

I've been thinkin about makin an exhaust for my "touring bike" for some time now, but didn't want to have any down time. I've been running this V&H 2-into-1 the whole time and never could get it tuned in to where I like it 100%. Never could get the feel and gas mileage I wanted, despite experimenting with different baffle pressures and carb tuning. Went ridin a few weeks ago and the baffle rattled out somewhere, turning the 2-into-1 into a sputtering, megaphone, pissed off mess. This was fate forcing me to make a custom exhaust, at least that's how I took it. Fabbed up this design in a few days and dropped them off at DeTray Plating for a chrome bath. Took em out for their debut the other night and couldn't be happier with the performance, sound, and style. Pretty stoked!
