Big Tom's Ultra Heritage Softail Classic

This is my Dad's 2003 Heritage Softail Classic 100th Anniversary Edition. He kept a Shovelhead running, as his only bike, for 20+ years, so I don't break his balls when he wants a windshield, reliability, etc... and we still have the Shovel... forrr-evvv-errr! We've heard the horror stories of the Twin Cam tensioners going bad between 30K - 50K miles, he has 42K, so we decided it was time to take a look. As you can see in the pics, he was approaching shit city! So, got those changed out, added the hard bags, fairing with radio, and hooked up a programmer so I could map the EFI. It's like a whole new bike. Hope he falls in love with it all over again!

So stoked that riding season is here. That means that riding destinations are needed, so I've been checking out some of my buddys' projects. Also, sold a bike, finished a bike, helped fix another, and knocked all the winter salt off the truck.  Spring is finally here and life is good!

Mama Tried Motorcycle Show 2015 in Milwaukee, WI - Part 1

Headed up to Milwaukee this most recent weekend to check out this year's edition of Mama Tried. A way different crowd and feel from the previous weekend in Portland at The 1 Moto. This show had more of a "traditional American chopper" feel. Got to talk motorcycles with some knowledgeable folks and see some bitchin bikes. Again, I took a shit-load of pics, so this is part 1 of 2. I, also, tried to get some close-ups. Wish I woulda done that at the Portland show. Enjoy....
