Checked this out early this morning. I missed it last year, but the popular opinion was that there were way fewer entries than the last. Maybe it was due to weather, or maybe the fact that it's Superbowl Sunday? None the less, I took a bunch of pics and got to talk motorcycles with some buddies that I usually only see at motorcycle type events. Saw some bikes I've seen before, some I haven't, and checked out the Jack Larson Knucklehead drag bike again. I could look at that thing all day, but I didn't and here's proof. Enjoy......

Wide Open Magazine Bike Show 2014 at the Kansas City KCI Expo Center
Checked out the Wide Open Bike Show today. In recent years, the show had been ruled by trailer queens, ridiculously fat tires, and baggers with dubs. This year, giant wheeled baggers dominated the landscape again, but there were enough vintage, metric, and well done custom bikes to keep my attention for a couple hours. The last bike pictured is Jack Larson's Knucklehead drag bike. I think it is the cooooolest! I walked back over to it a few different times. Here are some other bikes, minus the 30" wheeled baggers, that I thought some might enjoy looking at. Enjoy.....

Some Pics from the Last Few Weeks.....
Designed and drawn by Eric McJilton, I hope to assist him in creating this soon.
The guys from the league and I presented our last season's champ, Paul, with the finished trophy at Twin Peaks. The champ is required to send the league pics of the trophy, occasionally, so we know it isn't sittin in his closet. Paul is fulfilling his obligation nicely.
Got a lil bit more done on my custom. Got the tanks temporarily mounted and tryin to come up with an acceptable bar design. Mounted several different types, but it's still a think piece.
Spent NYE at the Rieger with family and friends. Got all fancy with caviar, tiny forks, pearl spoons, and candle lit champagne. Twas a good time!
